The staff are very professional, kind and happy to help, the actual candle making isn't too expensive, there's a crazy wide variety of fragrances to choose from and the vessels you get to choose from are so cute and well-made! I recently went to kirkwood candle bar and really enjoyed my experience, it was more hands on than I thought and the employee was a great guide. It is definitely more expensive than finding a candle but sorting through all the sent options and making my own combination was well worth the price. (2 candles +2 of the more expensive vessel options +coloring for both = $87)

There were tons of scent options to choose from, and the entire experience was easy and fun. I made a Vanilla + White Birch candle that ended up being my absolute favorite candle I've ever owned. I had multiple friends tell me they loved the scent, so they also helped me place a custom order and ship it to my state! Would highly recommend if you're in the area.
